Presenting a new take on an old standard: The Concord Daybed is a contemporary platform bed with a clean, backless design and low-profile stance. The Concord can coordinate and adapt to any room. Set it up as a daybed in your guest room, or as a more traditional platform bed for personal use. Add under-bed drawers with flat panel fronts for additional storage. Crafted from eco-friendly hardwood and perfected with a high-build, five-step finishing process, this easy-breezy daybed is an ideal addition to any bedroom or modern apartment setting. An innovative hook-and-pin system creates a strong, long-lasting connection between the headboard and footboard. Two metal pins are embedded within the head and foot of the bed frame (or optional footboards) at two positions, making it easy to switch from upper height to lower height. Set the bed high for use with bed storage, or set it low for use with just a mattress. No box spring is required. Recessed panel footboards are included with the storage drawer option only.
